DRAWING CONTEST FOR CHILDREN
MY SUPER DRAWING !
​With the patronage of the Géant des Beaux-Arts, Versand Sud is launching a drawing contest for preschoolers (ages 3 to 5.) This contest aims to celebrate the expression of the youth who are not (or not too heavily) influenced by the media.
There is no theme, we want to let their inspiration flow and guide these children to allow them to be as creative as they want to be and let them surprise us.

RULES

All 2D formats accepted (A3, A4, cardboard textile)

All technics are conceivable: chalks, pastels, markers, crayons, paint…
-
The representation of pre-existing characters (Disney, Marvel,) and digital drawings are not allowed.
The contest will automatically be closed after the reception of 100 drawings.

GIFT BASKETS
​
​The first prize consists of a prize of €150 including:
a painting apron, felt sheets, lots of chalk, many
brushes and gouaches as well as oil pastels.
The second prize consists of a prize of €70 including:
a painting apron, felt sheets, a gouache set, box
colored pencils, pastels, markers and a set of brushes.
The third prize consists of a prize of €30 including:
a painting apron, felt sheets, a small set of brushes,
gouaches, and colored pencils.
All the other little participants will get Jumbo pencils!

The jury will be composed of an artist (Elvire Menetrier), an art historian (Quentin Petit dit Duhal),a gallerist (Mathilde Mascolo from the Double V Gallery) and with a vote for the Versant Sud team.
​

The award ceremony will take place at Le Cloitre, located at 20 Bd Madeleine Rémusat, 13013 Marseille, Wednesday, December 13th, with the program:

The event will take place in the presence of the Patron Le Géant des Beaux-Arts, teachers, children and their parents, members of the selection committee and the Versant Sud team.

The photograph of the drawing should be sharp and not cropped. It must be carried out on a flat surface, and on a plain background.
The shooting can be done with a phone (ex: iPhone SE).

Le Cloître
​
This former cloister, named Saint-François de Sales at the time, located on the hill of Saint-Bruno, in the 13th arrondissement comes to life in a new light and becomes the scene of an innovative project: to build a space of social entrepreneurship with young people from the northern neighbourhoods of Marseille.
