Reaching Centrum shows us a fragmented universe, organized around a central character painted with bleach. First there is this explosion; of the organic which is expelled to the edge of the frame, leaving room for the empty architecture of the body.

The composition bursts from the macroscopic to the microscopic and the gaze gradually enters inside the body, from the transparency of its epidermis to the zoom of its cells. Each circle multiplies the points of view of an interior landscape drawn with colored pencils.

The emaciation is doubled by the raw structure of the metal frame, directly inspired by altarpieces and religious stained glass windows. This steel sculpture is the result of a collaboration with the locksmith and boilermaker, Luca Veuillet.

The fake copper organs float in the resin, a poisonous and bloody bodily fluid. They are organs without a body, which gravitate around the structure. They oxidize over time like futuristic prostheses that won't stop rotting.

Dramatically staged, the play is inspired by the medical world, religious icons and heroic fantasy aesthetics. She questions traditional representations of the body and thwarts the canons of beauty by focusing on the interior.

"I use both codes of traditional representations such as religious iconography or classical paintings, and I will come to confront them with more popular and contemporary imaginations; such as post-internet, medical imaging, pornography, advertising, and video games."
